Lady Gaga’s new video, “Telephone” will be released next Monday, March 8th. I can’t wait. But seriously, what’s with all the hold ups? This video was supposed to premiere last week! Owell, hopefully it’ll be worth the wait.

“It’s a fucking smash. I gave her a humongous radio record. It’s just so infectious. It’s about getting past any drama and just being happy to be alive. It’s an encouraging record. It feels great and it’s got great tempo…Whenever I think of Rihanna, it makes me happy. To be honest, I wasn’t really that excited about hearing her in a dark zone. I love Rihanna for being that girl… She’s like the lil’ fantasy chick—nice brown skin, beautiful woman with a Caribbean swagger that’s ridiculous.”
Hopefully she’ll grow her hair out for this new album. What do you think?

Check out the single cover for Justin Bieber’s second single, “Never Let You Go” from the second half of his debut album, “My World 2.0.” I like it. It’s simple.
As you all know, Kelly Clarkson is hard at work on her “All I Ever Wanted World Tour” promoting the album, while releasing her fourth single, “All I Ever Wanted” next week, and she is also working on her fifth album! She’s a hard-working girl! Anyway, some of her tracks that she’s been working on for her new album have been linked, and normally I wouldn’t post them but I’m so excited! Usually if a song is leaked the artist won’t use it for their album, but back in ’08 when she was working on “All I Ever Wanted” four tracks leaked, one, “Ready,” was featured on the album still. So maybe there’s hope that some of these songs will make it! Check them out!
I Can Do Better
Empty As I Am
This song was the song Kelly wrote in response to the “Twilight” books. It is unknown whether she actually submitted the song for the “New Moon” soundtrack, but she was hoping to be asked, among many other artists.
I’m Not The Only One
Poison Candy
Last Cup
I Wish I Could Be Lonely Instead
Mrs. Right
I Need You
Song To You
Only You
So Far Apart
Hand Me Downs
Far From Home
Old Man
So He Says
Come Back To Me
Call Me
A Little More Time, A Little Less Over
Between The Lines
Did You
This song is probably from her “My December” sessions, but I suppose it could still be in the running for this album.
There are twenty songs here. More than enough for an album’s worth. Hopefully Kelly will surprise us with a live album from her “All I Ever Wanted World Tour” and a new studio album by the end of the year with a ton of songs on it! Kelly has said herself that she always tries to put more than the typical 10-12 songs on an album because then it seems like you got more for your money when you buy an album. I CAN’T WAIT!!!
Any speculations?

On differentiating herself from the other pop princesses:
“You’ve got GaGa, who’s like, from outer space; you’ve got Ke$ha, who’s the beer-drinking, house-party girl; and then you’ve got Rihanna, who’s transforming the urban world into her own outer space. But I feel like you’re missing an Alanis Morissette, in 2010. I love how she was a voice for a lot of people who couldn’t explain their feelings. But it’s not like I’m not gonna compete. I love a good dose of healthy competition. It’s not going to be the same that they’re doing…”On how she’s really just Taylor Swift:
“Sometimes I really feel like I’m more of a Taylor Swift. She tells stories, and I think that’s why she resonates with a lot of people. She hits the hidden chord in them [where they say], ‘Oh my God, I’ve been through that too,’ or ‘You said it in a way I could never explain.’”On how she had to go through the five stages of GaGa to reach OBSESSION:
“When I heard The Fame Monster, I was like, ‘What the fuck is she talking about – teeth and he ate my heart and monster and dance in the dark and shit?’ I thought she was such a shock jock. Then I saw her on the American Music Awards, and I was like, ‘You’re an animal of another kind, and we need you!’ She’s amazing. She’s an entertainer, a visual arts. And her lyrics do mean things when you actually break them down.”On her British boo:
“Love has really affected [my songwriting]. I know how to handle a man now. So it’s talking about the love rather than, you know, being annoyed with boys. He’s like Jim Morrison meets Charles Manson meets Jesus meets a little bit of Elvis. He’s a walking genius. Just standing next to him makes me smarter. He’s good for me. He’s not a pussy in any way, shape or form. He’s the boss; he calls the shots. But I like that. I’ve been waiting for someone I couldn’t steamroll.”
I’ve decided to start posting these video blogs that artists do. I know David Archuleta does a lot, but this one is Taylor Swift’s latest. If you know anyone else that releases video blogs let me know so I can post them.
Looks like Avril Lavigne is starting to reemerge. Still with old material, but it’s better than nothing. Check her out on the 2010 Olympic Games Closing Ceremony singing “My Happy Ending” and “Girlfriend.” Can’t wait for her new album!
Check out David Archuleta’s unreleased song, “She’s Not You.” (A little reminiscent of Jesse McCartney’s “She’s No You,” isn’t it? At least the title…)

1. Baby (Ft. Ludacris)
I figured I’d do The Black Eyed Peas because they’re hot right now. Check out their latest single and this week’s number one, “Imma Be.” The song is definitely growing on me. Also on their album try out “Rock That Body” and “Missing You.” Let me know what you think about the header! (Sorry it’s not bigger. I guess it just wants to be stupid)
